Recebi um puxão de orelha do meu irmão há alguns dias, reclamando que abandonei isso aqui. Bom, até tive vontade de postar. O que faltou foi tempo. E nada de lowercase e inglês hoje, por incrível que pareça..

Bom, há algumas semanas fui para um hotel fazenda com o Gui e com a família dele. Divertido e relaxante, coisas que eu andava sentindo falta nessa correria de trabalho, freelas, aulas e eventuais TPMs. O ápice da diversão dos últimos dias foi encarar a Zombie Walk BH com minhas lentes vermelhas e brancas (vermelha da Solótica com a ice por cima. A ice parece azul normalmente, mas a tintura dela é totalmente branca) e ficar tirando fotos com pessoas aleatórias, que sacavam o celular e me paravam para isso.

O legal é que nesses eventos sempre encontramos amigos e colegas que não tínhamos notícias há tempos.. O único lance é que minha mãe me viu vestida de zumbi e quase teve um treco. Acho que se ela me pegasse cheirando cocaína ou injetando algo (algo impossível, devo acrescentar) ela teria sido mais compreensiva. Comentei isso com o Gui e ele ainda me solta um “você tem dúvida disso ainda?”.

Nope, darling, you’re so right. Ela seria mesmo.

Minha nova meta é tirar carteira de motorista… de moto! Meu pai está OK com a idéia, meu irmão do meio achou legal e minha mãe só saberá quando eu chegar em casa com minha motoca. Quero uma scooter e estou secando várias na net… e na loja da Yamaha aqui perto da Anima. Vi o site da ScootersPremium e fiquei babando.. Liguei pra lá e fiquei mais tentada ainda. Mas acho que o mais provável é que eu compre uma Lead por enquanto e depois venda para comprar uma Vespa. Aliás, aproveitei que meu tio comprou uma Shadow e subi na coisinha outro dia… e cara, que moto linda!

Ah, recebi há algum tempo meus dois livros com ilustrações do Arthur Rackham. Sou fã do cara, trabalhos lindos, mágicos. Gosto bastante das cores e das composições.. além dos temas! =) E ainda por cima foi baratíssimo lá no Amazon.

Mudando totalmente de assunto, o Juliano, headmaster da Animassauro, mandou um email ontem falando sobre a técnica Pomodore. Vai rolar um Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V numa parte do email:

i’ve been busy a lot lately - sorry for not updating it.
it’s 4:46 am and i just woke up. i left my computer playing my favourite songs and waking up listening to hirasawa susumu’s parade lift my mood a lot.

i’m afraid that this will be a pic only post, since i forgot to recharge the camera’s batteries to take sketches pictures. oh well, here we go:
last friday was my older brother’s birthday. his wife decided to make a surprise party and we helped her. julie brought her wii and rock band (guitar hero too) and we played till 4 am.. SO FUN. i told her that, altought she doesn’t like strawberries, she would love my aunt’s “repeated cake”.

i shall not speak about this.

a friend of mine named the cake this way. it has jelly + strawberry in the top, vanilla cake with white cream and strawberry jam. delicious and a must-have in most of our birthdays (since we were little kids :D).

then, tuesday was my grandfather’s birthday.

i was looking at my broken nail and gui took this -_- and then asked why i couldn’t make normal natural poses with my hand. well, that’s my natural, monster-like hands.

oh yeah, i received my melissa + the wizard of oz. (eh.. i’m addicted to melissa’s plastic shoes. =x)

and i’ll double-check the spelling later. i promised that i will make a strawberry cheesecake for the animassauro’s guys today, so it’s better to hurry up =3

yesterday me, Alisson and João went to the FEB (brazilian expeditionary force) museum, we listened some war veterans stories and took some pictures. i couldn’t stay ’till the end of the tour, but i took many pictures.

just a small update before i fall asleep in front of the computer. huh..

for some bizarre reason all the images in my blog are distorted. i’ll try to fix this tomorrow.

so, we went to hard rock cafe to watch some shows. the great thing is that one of the bands that played - silvercrow - belongs to a good friend of us, Paulinho. i bought their first cd a couple of years ago and it`s good, but the new songs are pretty awesome.
but… i was really stunned when the last band, tuatha de danann, played. they are so fucking awesome! how come i never listened to them before? D:

we watched 5 bands: wanted, silvercrow, devildust, some teen rock band i don’t know the name and tuatha, which was the best - followed by silvercrow. i think the teen rock band somewhat killed ‘november rain’ with their cover, but it was a nice attitude of them by playing some michael jackson’s greatest hits mix.
uh, the last time i wore my red contact lenses (that actually look somewhat pink/orange) was at my last birthday party, so i decided to work the creepy look.
oh, and there was this curious thing.. this girl came to me saying that her husband asked where i got my badass 7/8 combat boots and i told it was custom made. when i lifted my dress a little for her to see the logo, she laughed and showed the same brand on hers boots. it happens that her husband made both, but forgot that he did mine and was fascinated with it. XD then she introduced him to me and when we talked he was so high that i doubt that he’ll remember that we even had a conversation.

so, last friday was the brazilian valentine’s day (that’s not really accurate since it has nothing to do with saint valentin, tho..). i have little to add other than tori told in her last update, but yeah, seeing the media treating being single as a sin (especially in girlie magazines) and a commercial date like it is the most important thing makes me bitter. c’mon, people…
well, i was quite bored and didn’t want to pick any gift, so i just told gui what i wanted and asked what he wants. works wonderfully, i must say. my gift is in my feet right now: a melissa + vivienne westwood anglomania three straps shoes.

but his gift will take some time to arrive because i didn’t find it anywhere in this country..

we went to a restaurant and had japanese food. it was really good.

other than that, we’re watching life on mars lately and it is SO DAMN GOOD. i mean, the UK version, i saw the first US one and it sucked. and i can’t get over the fact that they did put some skinny blondie as annie and some “imsupercoolandbadass” guy as sam. -_-
